What it is
The Ferroli 39820430 is a 16-plate DHW (domestic hot water) heat exchanger for Ferroli gas boilers. It transfers heat from the boiler's primary circuit to the domestic hot water supply. This secondary heat exchanger is used across the Fertech, Divatop and Optimax HE Plus ranges.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Reduced or fluctuating domestic hot water temperature
- Limescale or debris blocking the plate channels, causing restricted flow
- Water leaking from the plate stack or connections
- Boiler error codes relating to DHW or heat exchanger performance
- Cold water at the tap despite the heating circuit working
Before you order
- Check your boiler model and GC number against the compatibility list above
- Confirm the existing part number is 39820430
- Verify the plate count is 16 for your appliance
- Ensure you are replacing the DHW heat exchanger, not the primary heat exchanger
