What it is
The Ferroli 39818170 is an O-ring seal set for the flow and return hydroblock, sealing the brass fitting on the underside of the assembly. It is used across a number of Ferroli Fertech, Optimax HE and Econcept gas boiler models. The seals prevent water weeping past the hydroblock connection points.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the hydroblock connection on the underside of the assembly
- Damp staining or corrosion around the brass fitting
- Visible flattening, cracking or hardening of the O-ring
- Pressure loss traced to the flow or return hydroblock joint
- Scale or debris build-up on the seal face after the joint has been disturbed
