What it is

The Ferroli 39810740 is a drop-down panel forming part of the boiler casing. It is fitted to a number of Ferroli Optimax, SYS and Tempra gas boiler models, where it closes over the front of the appliance and hinges down for access. The panel protects the internal components and completes the outer casing of the boiler.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The panel is cracked, split or broken
  • The hinge or pivot points are damaged so the panel no longer drops down correctly
  • The panel will not sit flush or stay closed against the casing
  • Heat damage, distortion or heavy discolouration of the panel
  • The panel is missing from the appliance

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above
  • Check the model code and GC number on the appliance data badge
  • Verify the existing panel's part number or shape matches 39810740 before ordering
  • Inspect the hinge and fixing points on the boiler as well as the panel itself
