What it is
The Ferroli 24 volt transformer is a low-voltage power supply component used within the boiler's electrical control circuit. It steps the mains supply down to 24 V to feed the control electronics on Ferroli Arena and Econcept 50A appliances. This part supersedes manufacturer code 806230.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler is completely dead with no display or indicator lights
- Control board receives no low-voltage supply, so no ignition sequence starts
- Repeated blowing of the internal fuse on the low-voltage side
- Intermittent shutdowns or erratic control behaviour as the winding breaks down
- Visible scorching, discolouration or a burnt smell around the transformer
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and model code against the fitment list above
- Check the part number on the existing transformer, including any superseded code
- Verify the fault is on the low-voltage supply side before replacing the transformer
- Isolate the mains supply and follow the manufacturer's wiring diagram when fitting
