What it is
The Ferroli 39806180 is a low water pressure sensor kit used on Ferroli gas boilers in the Arena, Domicompact, Domina and Domitop families. It is a water pressure switch with a 1/4 connection, supplied as a kit. The switch monitors system water pressure and signals the appliance when pressure is present, allowing the boiler to run.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler locks out or fails to fire even though the system pressure gauge shows adequate pressure.
- The appliance does not register system pressure, so no heating or hot water demand is accepted.
- Heating and hot water run intermittently, with the boiler cutting out shortly after ignition.
- A low water pressure fault is shown on the appliance display.
- The boiler responds only after the pressure switch is manually disturbed or the system is re-pressurised.

- Check the connection on the existing switch and the code marked on the part being removed (803931).
- Confirm the system pressure is correct and that the fault is not caused by a loss of water from the heating circuit.
- Check that the fault is traced to the pressure switch rather than the pressure gauge, wiring or PCB.
