What it is
The Ferroli 39805920 is a safety valve supplied complete with its manifold. It is fitted to a range of Ferroli gas boilers, including Domina, Falcon, Modena and Tempra models, where it relieves excess system pressure by discharging water through the outlet. The assembly supersedes Ferroli code 805880.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler pressure drops repeatedly and the system needs frequent topping up
- Water discharging from the valve outlet when system pressure is below the valve setting
- Visible drips, staining or scale deposits around the valve body or manifold
- The valve fails to reseat after operating, leaving a continuous weep
- System pressure climbing above the normal range without the valve relieving

- Check the existing valve is marked 39805920 or the earlier code 805880
- Inspect the manifold and connections for corrosion or damage before fitting
- Confirm system pressure and expansion vessel operation, as a failed vessel can cause the valve to discharge
