The Ferroli 39805670 is a flame sensing electrode used in Ferroli gas boilers. It sits in the combustion path and signals the control board when a flame is established, allowing the boiler to continue running safely. It is a serviceable ignition-train component, listed under electrodes in the gas boiler spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fires, then locks out because no flame signal is detected.
- Repeated lockouts on start-up that clear only after a reset.
- The electrode tip is visibly eroded, cracked, or heavily carboned.
- The ceramic insulator is cracked or the sensing lead is damaged.
- Flame detection becomes intermittent as the boiler warms up.
