What it is

The Ferroli ignition electrode with mounting plate (part 39805660) is a spark electrode assembly used to ignite the gas and air mixture at the burner. It is fitted to Ferroli Domina 80E Mf02 and Modena 80E Mf02 gas boilers. The electrode is supplied complete with its mounting plate.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler fails to ignite, with no spark at the burner
  • Repeated lockout during ignition attempts
  • Cracking, carbon tracking or heavy soot on the electrode or its ceramic insulator
  • Electrode tip eroded or spark gap visibly out of tolerance
  • Damaged or distorted electrode mounting plate
