What it is
The Ferroli 39805650 is a 100°C overheat thermostat supplied with a mounting bracket. It is fitted to a number of Ferroli gas boiler ranges, where it monitors appliance temperature and breaks the burner circuit if the set point is exceeded, protecting the boiler from overheating.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler locks out or shuts down repeatedly once it reaches temperature
- An overheat fault code or lockout appears on the boiler controls
- The thermostat does not reset after the appliance has cooled
- The boiler fails to fire or run for more than a short period before tripping out
- Repeated manual resets are needed to keep the appliance running
