What it is

The Ferroli pilot injector 0.20 is a metering jet fitted to the pilot burner assembly of Ferroli gas boilers running on LPG. It controls the gas flow to the pilot flame, which in turn proves ignition and holds the burner safety circuit open. It is a serviceable component and is sized specifically for LPG applications.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Pilot flame is weak, lazy or noticeably yellow rather than a steady blue
  • Pilot fails to stay lit once the ignition button or spark is released
  • Boiler locks out repeatedly because the pilot cannot be established
  • Soot or discolouration building up around the pilot burner area
  • Pilot injector blocked or restricted, with the pilot struggling to light at all
