What it is
The Ferroli 39803440 is a piezo electrode used in Ferroli HAWK series gas boilers. It produces the spark that ignites the gas at the burner. This part supersedes the earlier code 870225.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No spark at the burner, so the boiler fails to light
- Audible click from the ignition circuit but no ignition
- Boiler locks out repeatedly on ignition failure
- Cracked or damaged ceramic body on the electrode
