What it is
The Ferroli 39801520 is an air pressure test point manufactured for use on Ferroli gas boilers. It provides a sealed access point where a manometer or pressure gauge can be connected to read air and flue pressure during commissioning, servicing and fault diagnosis. The body is plastic and the part supersedes earlier code 806115.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible leakage or staining around the test point body or nipple
- Cracks or damage to the plastic housing
- A perished or missing seal, causing pressure readings to drift or fail to hold
- A seized or rounded cap that will not seal correctly after a reading is taken
- Unstable or inconsistent manometer readings when the test point is in use
