What it is

The Ferroli 39800600 is a pump assembly for Ferroli gas boilers, built around a Grundfos UPS 15/50 circulator. It provides the primary circulation of heating water through the boiler and the system, and is the part that fails when flow drops or the pump becomes noisy. This assembly supersedes the earlier code 800600.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Radiators stay cold or heat unevenly while the boiler is firing
  • The pump is noisy, whining or rumbling in normal operation
  • The pump head is hot but not turning, or the boiler reaches temperature and locks out on flow or overheat
  • Water weeping from the pump body, gland or housing joints
  • The pump does not run when the boiler calls for heat and the pump is supplied

  • Check the boiler model against the fitment list above, as the same pump body is used across several Ferroli ranges
  • Confirm the existing pump is a Grundfos UPS 15/50 fitment before ordering
  • Note that the earlier code 800600 is superseded by 39800600
  • Isolate the electrical supply and drain or isolate the boiler before removing the old pump assembly
