What it is
The Ariston 396151 is a cylinder flange assembly with an integrated anode, supplied under the Protech range. It mounts to the cylinder body and carries the anode that protects the internal surface from corrosion. It is used on Ariston Protech AYVMA wall-hung unvented cylinders.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or staining around the flange joint on the cylinder
- The anode has been consumed, is heavily pitted, or has broken away from the flange
- Rust-coloured or discoloured hot water at the tap
- Corrosion or scale build-up on the flange face or its sealing face
- Repeated pressure loss traced to the flange connection
