What it is
The Intergas starlock is a push-on retaining clip used on Intergas Combi Compact HRE and Compact HRE appliances. It is supplied two per boiler. The clip holds the associated component firmly in position during operation and service.

- The clip is missing, having been lost or discarded during a previous service
- The clip is deformed, cracked or has lost its grip
- The component it retains is loose or able to move on its mounting
- Corrosion or discolouration on the clip
- Rattling or vibration from the retained component
