What it is
The Benson GS20 is an ON/OFF gas train supplied complete with its valve and pipe. It controls the delivery of gas to the burner on Benson cabinet heaters, opening and closing the gas supply in response to the appliance controls. This assembly is identified by part number 39-70-531.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The burner fails to ignite or the appliance locks out on a call for heat
- No gas reaches the burner although the controls are calling for heat
