What it is
The DHW inlet pipe is a Ferroli component that carries mains cold water into the domestic hot water circuit of the appliance. It is used on the Ferroli Optimax HE Plus 31C V1 and V2 combi boilers, feeding the DHW side of the boiler so that hot water can be drawn on demand.

- Water weeping or dripping from the pipe or its connections
- Visible corrosion, pitting or verdigris on the pipe surface
- Reduced hot water flow at the taps despite adequate mains pressure
- Scale build-up or a blocked DHW inlet restricting water throughput
- A joint that will not seal even after the connection is remade
