What it is
The Reznor 36 25213 is a carborundum hot surface ignition device for Reznor heaters. It is the ignition source for the burner, heating electrically to light the gas at the start of a call for heat. It is used across Reznor warm air, room sealed and condensing unit heaters.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The burner fails to light and the appliance goes to lockout
- The igniter element does not glow when the call for heat begins
- The carborundum element is cracked, blistered or eroded
