What it is
The primary air filter for the controls cover bottom is a Hamworthy filter element, supplied under part number 339920475. It sits in the control cover area of the appliance and filters the primary air supply to the burner assembly. Keeping this element clean protects the combustion air path on the Wessex 200HE range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible dust, lint or debris trapped across the filter element
- The element is distorted, torn or has collapsed in the housing
- Reduced air flow through the primary air path at the controls cover
- Sooting, unstable flame or poor combustion readings that point to restricted air
- The filter has been in service through a full heating season without cleaning
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model is a Hamworthy Wessex 200HE floor standing unit
- Check the existing filter sits in the controls cover bottom position before ordering
- Match the part number 339920475 against the marking on the old element where legible
- Inspect the filter housing and cover for damage while the element is removed
