What it is
The condensate collecting basin is a Ferroli flue component, part number 33301540, fitted to boiler models in the Arena range. It gathers condensate produced in the flue gas path and routes it to the drainage outlet so that acidic condensate does not sit within the appliance. It supersedes the earlier Ferroli code 803540.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Condensate leaking from the base of the boiler or from the flue assembly
- Water pooling around the basin rather than draining away
- Visible cracking, deformation or corrosion of the basin body
- Blocked or restricted condensate flow traced to the basin
- Condensate escaping with the flue gases and appearing as persistent pluming
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model against the fitment list above before ordering
- Inspect the existing basin and its seals to confirm the fault is with the basin itself
- Check that no additional gaskets, seals or fittings are required to complete the repair
