What it is
The Riello electrode 3014038 is a burner ignition electrode used in Riello RS 25/m BLU and RS 35/m BLU gas burners. It forms part of the burner's ignition circuit, providing the spark that lights the gas/air mixture at start-up. It is supplied as a Riello burner spare.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Burner goes to lockout at start-up with no established flame
- No visible spark at the electrode during the ignition sequence
- Electrode tip shows erosion, pitting or heavy carbon build-up
- Cracked or discoloured ceramic insulator on the electrode
- Spark tracking or arcing to earth instead of across the ignition gap
