What it is

The Riello RMO 88.53 is a burner control box used across the Riello Press range of oil burners. It manages the burner's start-up sequence, flame supervision and lockout function. This control box carries Riello part number 3013071 and supersedes part 201984.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Burner goes to lockout and will not reset through the control box
  • No ignition sequence on a call for heat, with the burner motor and pump otherwise sound
  • Repeated or intermittent lockouts with no consistent fault elsewhere in the burner
