What it is
The air diffuser is a Riello burner spare, identified by part number 3012632. It forms part of the combustion air path on Riello RS 160 series BLU burners, shaping and directing airflow at the burner head. It is listed under Riello burner spares for the RS 160/ev and RS 160/m BLU ranges.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible distortion, cracking or burning of the diffuser after sustained high-temperature operation
- Combustion readings that will not stabilise despite correct nozzle, pump pressure and air settings
- Flame shape or stability changes that cannot be corrected through normal burner adjustment
- Carbon build-up or erosion on the diffuser face that cannot be cleaned back to sound metal
Before you order
- Read the burner data plate and confirm the model and code against the fitment list above
- Check the existing diffuser for the part number or compare its profile before removal
- Inspect the burner head, blast tube and electrodes while the diffuser is off, as these are disturbed during access
- Confirm the burner is isolated and the fuel supply shut off before any strip-down
