What it is

This is Riello's air pressure switch (APS), a safety device that confirms the burner's fan is running correctly before the burner is allowed to fire, preventing a build-up of combustion gases if airflow is inadequate.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Burner fails to start or repeatedly locks out on an airflow fault
  • Burner starts then cuts out shortly after
  • Intermittent lockouts with no other apparent cause

Before you order

  • Match the part number printed on your existing switch before ordering
  • Isolate electrical power before removing the old switch
  • Have this fitted by a competent burner engineer
