What it is

The Riello H T lead is a high-tension ignition lead used on Riello R40 series oil burners. It carries the ignition voltage from the control box to the electrode assembly, producing the spark that lights the burner. This part is supplied as a pack of five leads.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Burner reaches the end of pre-purge but fails to ignite
  • No spark visible at the electrodes when the burner is called
  • Intermittent lockouts that clear on reset
  • Cracked, charred or brittle insulation on the lead
  • Spark tracking or arcing to earth instead of across the electrode gap
