Riello Electrode Assembly 3007495

The Riello 3007495 electrode group is an ignition electrode assembly used on Riello Gulliver RG series oil burners. It sits in the combustion head and generates the high-voltage spark that ignites the oil and air mixture at start-up. The assembly is a serviceable item and is replaced when the electrode tips become worn, fouled or cracked.

• Burner locks out on start-up with no ignition, despite oil being present at the nozzle
• Visible wear, erosion or rounding of the electrode tips
• Heavy carbon fouling or bridging across the electrode tips that cleaning does not resolve
• Cracking or damage to the ceramic insulation on the electrodes
• Weak, intermittent or absent spark when the burner is checked during a service

• Confirm the burner model and code stamped on the burner data plate matches one of the fitments listed
• Check the electrode tips and ceramic insulation for damage before removing the assembly
• Check electrode gap and positioning against the burner's technical data when refitting
• Inspect the transformer and HT leads at the same time, as ignition faults can originate there rather than at the electrodes
