What it is
The Riello 3006931 is an air shutter for Riello oil burners. It forms part of the burner's air regulation, controlling how much air is drawn into the combustion head. It is listed for the R40 GS20 burner family.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Soot deposits or heavy smoking at the burner, pointing to incorrect air regulation
- Unstable or pulsating flame that cannot be corrected through air adjustment
- Visible distortion, cracking or corrosion of the shutter
- Shutter sticking or seized, so the air setting will not move freely
- Combustion readings that will not settle within the expected range
Before you order
- Read the burner data plate and confirm the burner code matches one of the codes listed under Fits
- Confirm the burner type number (556-T1 or 556-T55) against the same plate
- Compare the removed shutter with the part number 3006931 before fitting
- Check the air intake area for debris or damage that may have caused the original fault

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
