The Riello 3006592 is an ignition transformer used on Riello GAS series gas burners. It steps up the supply voltage to produce the high-tension spark across the burner electrodes that lights the gas/air mixture at start-up. It is listed by the manufacturer under Riello burner spares.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Burner reaches the end of pre-purge but fails to light, with no spark at the electrodes
  • Repeated lockouts on start-up that clear only after several reset attempts
  • Weak, intermittent or visibly irregular spark at the electrode tips
  • Buzzing, humming or arcing noises from the transformer area during ignition
  • Scorching, burning smell or visible damage around the transformer body or terminals
