What it is

The Riello burner flange, part 3006384, is the mounting plate that secures the oil burner to the appliance front plate. It is used across the Riello RDB1, RDB2 and RDB2.2 oil burner ranges and the Potterton Statesman Utility boiler family. The flange carries the burner in the correct position so the blast tube and combustion head sit squarely in the combustion chamber.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Corrosion, rust pitting or heavy scale across the flange face
  • Cracks or elongation around the mounting holes
  • Warping or distortion so the burner no longer sits flush against the appliance
  • Burner sitting loose, misaligned or vibrating in its mounting position
  • Soot or combustion leakage around the burner mounting plate
