What it is
The Riello diffuser disc (part 3006241) is a burner component that sits in the blast tube and shapes the airflow around the flame. It is listed by Riello under the Elica designation and is used across the Press 450 P/g burner range. Its job is to stabilise the air/fuel mix at the combustion head so the flame holds its shape through the firing cycle.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Flame instability or flame lift at the combustion head
- Soot deposits or darkened combustion readings that cannot be corrected by adjustment
- Visible cracking, distortion, erosion or heat damage on the disc
- Raised CO readings or a burner that will not hold a clean set-up
- Abnormal combustion noise from the blast tube area
Before you order
- Confirm the burner model is a Riello Press 450 P/g
- Check the burner code against the list above, as the disc is listed against type 484-M1
- Inspect the existing diffuser disc for cracking, distortion or erosion before ordering
- Verify the part number 3006241 against the burner's parts list
