What it is
The Riello 3006216 is a photocell, also listed as a photoresistance, used for flame detection on Riello oil burners. It monitors the presence of a flame at the burner and signals the control box to maintain or interrupt the firing sequence. It is supplied as a Riello burner spare for oil boiler applications.

- The burner fires and then locks out because no flame signal is registered
- Repeated or intermittent lockouts during the firing sequence
- The burner runs for a short period and then shuts down
- Soot, dirt or moisture on the photocell lens affecting the flame signal
