What it is

A pack of ten H T (high tension) leads from Riello, supplied as burner spares. They carry the ignition voltage from the burner control box to the ignition electrode on Riello gas burners. The leads are a service item on the GAS 8, GAS 9 and GAS 10 P/m ranges.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The burner sparks weakly or not at all at the electrode
  • Visible cracking, chafing or hardening of the lead insulation
  • Spark arcing to earth or to the burner body instead of across the electrode gap
  • Intermittent ignition failure or repeated lockouts that clear after the lead is moved
  • Brittle or discoloured lead ends at the electrode or control box connection
