What it is

The Riello 3006012 is a short-pattern ignition electrode supplied by Riello for use in its burner assemblies. It forms part of the burner's ignition circuit, providing the spark that lights the fuel at start-up. It is listed under electrodes within Riello burner spares.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Burner goes to lockout at start-up with no established flame
  • No visible spark at the electrode when the burner is called to fire
  • Electrode tip shows erosion, pitting or heavy carbon build-up
  • Cracked or discoloured ceramic insulator on the electrode
  • Intermittent ignition or repeated failed start attempts

Before you order

  • Check the burner data plate and match the model code and type number against the fitment list above
  • Confirm the short electrode pattern is the one fitted to your burner
  • Check how many electrodes the burner uses so you order the correct quantity
  • Inspect the existing electrode and its lead for damage before fitting
