What it is

The Riello 3005492 is a solenoid valve block (valves group) used on Riello Press series oil burners. It controls the flow of oil to the burner nozzle, opening and closing the oil supply in step with the burner's operating sequence. It is a service component for the oil line on these pressure-jet burner assemblies.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Burner fails to fire or locks out despite a healthy oil supply and clean nozzle
  • Oil flow does not shut off cleanly when the burner stops, causing post-purge smoke or odour
  • Intermittent running, with the burner cutting in and out irregularly
  • Visible oil weeping or staining around the valve block body or its joints
  • Solenoid coil energises but no oil passes, or oil passes with the coil de-energised
