What it is
The Riello 475 SE-65 is a burner motor used in Riello gas and pressure-jet burner assemblies. It drives the burner fan and, where applicable, the fuel pump, providing the combustion air supply and atomisation pressure the burner needs to fire. This motor is listed against a broad spread of Riello burner codes and types, from the GAS 3 range through to the Press GB and GW series.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Burner goes to lockout on start-up with the fan not turning
- Motor hums but does not rotate, or rotates only briefly before stalling
- Audible bearing rumble, screech or grinding from the motor housing
- Motor casing running noticeably hot, or a burnt electrical smell from the windings
- Repeated overload trips or fuse failure on the burner control circuit
