What it is

Riello electrodes supplied as a pack of 10. They are fitted to Riello oil burner assemblies, where they produce the ignition spark across the electrode tips to light the oil and air mixture. Part number 3004842.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Burner locks out or fails to ignite on start-up
  • No spark visible at the electrode tips during a test
  • Intermittent ignition, with the burner lighting only on some attempts
  • Electrode tips visibly eroded, rounded or bridged with carbon
  • Cracked or discoloured ceramic insulator on the electrode body
