What it is

The Riello 3003960 is a starter component for Riello burner assemblies. It is listed against the RS, RL and RLS burner families and forms part of the burner's start-up sequence.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Burner fails to start, with no motor run at the beginning of the sequence
  • Audible hum from the burner without the fan turning
  • Intermittent starting, or the burner locking out shortly after a start attempt
  • Overheating or a burning smell around the starter during start-up

Before you order

  • Match your burner model, code and type against the fitment list above
  • Confirm the part number on the existing starter is 3003960
  • Check the burner control for a lockout code before assuming the starter is at fault
  • Isolate the electrical supply before removing or fitting the starter
