The aeration shutter, part number 3003243, is a Valor component used across a number of the manufacturer's gas appliance ranges. It regulates the air drawn into the burner to set the correct air-to-gas ratio for combustion. Correct aeration keeps the flame stable and the burner burning cleanly.

- The shutter is seized, damaged or no longer holds its set position
