What it is

The Riello HT lead is the high-tension ignition lead used on Riello R40 GS series oil burners. It carries the high-voltage spark from the ignition transformer to the electrode assembly so the burner can light reliably. It is supplied as a pack of five leads.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Burner locks out on start-up with no ignition
  • Weak, intermittent or absent spark at the electrodes
  • Cracked, brittle or heat-damaged insulation along the lead
  • Visible arcing or tracking on the lead body
  • Carbon tracking or soot build-up at the electrode end
