What it is
The RDB T1 Combustion Head is a Riello burner spare for RDB series oil burners. It forms the front end of the burner where fuel is atomised and mixed with air to establish and hold the flame. It is fitted to the RDB burner family used in domestic oil-fired boiler and pressure jet applications.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Carbon build-up or heavy sooting on the combustion head that cannot be cleaned off
- Distortion, cracking or erosion of the head after prolonged running
- Unstable or pulsating flame, or difficulty holding flame once established
- Poor combustion readings that do not respond to cleaning or adjustment
- Visible damage to the head faces following a service strip-down
