What it is
The Navien air vent (part number 30023752A) is a boiler component used across the LCB 700 range of Navien appliances. It releases trapped air from the heating circuit, preventing airlocks that reduce circulation and cause noise or uneven heat output.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Gurgling, bubbling or rushing water noises from the boiler or pipework
- Radiators that stay cold at the top or heat unevenly
- Frequent bleeding of radiators required to restore heat
- Water weeping or dripping from the air vent body
- Boiler cycling or locking out as trapped air builds in the circuit
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Navien LCB 700
- Check whether the boiler is the internal or external variant
- Note the kW output (21KW, 28KW or 36KW) and the serial number
- Compare part number 30023752A against the component being replaced
