What it is
The Navien air vent, part number 30023517A, is a service component for the LCB 700 range of gas boilers. It releases trapped air from the boiler's water circuit, allowing the system to circulate correctly and preventing air locks from affecting performance. It is fitted across the LCB 700 combi, regular and system models in both internal and external variants.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Gurgling or bubbling noises from the boiler during operation
- Trapped air in the heating circuit that will not clear after bleeding radiators
- Cold spots or uneven heat across the system despite the boiler running
- Water weeping or dripping from the vent body
- The vent no longer discharging air when the system is filled or topped up
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler is a Navien LCB 700 model
- Check the boiler type (combi, regular or system) and whether it is internal or external
- Verify the output rating against the fitment list above
- Match the part number 30023517A to the component being replaced
