Navien Ignition Transformer 30023139A

The ignition transformer is a Navien component used across the NCB300 and NCB500 combi boiler families. It generates the high-voltage spark that lights the burner at the start of a heating or hot water demand. It is supplied as a single component for service and repair work.

• The boiler attempts to fire but there is no spark at the burner.
• Repeated ignition lockouts on a heating or hot water demand.
• The boiler fails to light despite the fan and gas valve operating.
• Intermittent ignition, with the appliance lighting on some attempts and not others.
• No audible sparking or a weak, irregular spark during the ignition sequence.

• Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above.
• Check the serial number of the appliance, as fitment is listed by serial number range.
• Verify the part number on the existing transformer before ordering.
• Confirm whether the fault lies with the transformer or with the ignition electrode and leads.
