What it is
The Riello control base for the 508/509 series is the mounting and connection platform that carries the burner control box on Riello oil and gas burners. It provides the electrical interface between the control box and the burner's wiring loom, and is listed under oil boiler spares in the controls category. It is a service part for the 508/509 control box family.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The burner locks out intermittently with no fault found elsewhere in the sequence.
- The control box is loose, does not seat firmly, or makes poor contact in the base.
- Terminals or contact pins in the base show burning, discolouration or corrosion.
- Cracking or heat damage to the base body around the control box mounting points.
- Faults that clear when the control box is pressed or reseated in the base.
