What it is
The Navien Fan Assembly is a premix blower unit used on Navien LCB 700 series gas boilers. It supplies combustion air to the premix burner and works with the boiler's control system to maintain correct air and gas proportions across the firing range. It is a serviceable component on the LCB 700 36kW platform.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Whining, grinding or rumbling noise from the fan area during or after firing
- Boiler fails to fire, or locks out shortly after the fan starts
- Fan runs intermittently or not at all when demand is present
- Combustion or ignition faults traced to poor or unstable air supply
- Visible damage, contamination or stiffness when the impeller is turned by hand
