What it is

The Navien 30017425A is a bypass valve used in Navien NCB-CE System Boiler ERP appliances. It regulates flow through the boiler's primary circuit, allowing a controlled proportion of water to bypass the heating load and maintain correct operating conditions across the system. It is a serviceable component within the boiler's hydraulic assembly.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler reaches temperature too quickly and cycles on and off short of demand
  • Poor or uneven heat output across the system despite the boiler running
  • Overheat lockout or temperature-related fault codes appearing during operation
  • Audible water noise or vibration from the boiler's hydraulic section
  • Visible scale, debris or damage around the bypass valve body

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler is an NCB-CE System Boiler ERP model
  • Check the model output rating (20KW, 23KW, 28KW or 33KW) against the appliance data plate
  • Verify the part number 30017425A against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
  • Confirm how many valves are required for the repair before ordering
