What it is
The condensate trap is a Navien component used on NPE-AWE and NPE-SWE series boilers. It collects condensate produced during combustion and forms a water seal that prevents flue gases from escaping through the condensate discharge path. The trap is drained to a suitable discharge point as part of the boiler's condensate management system.
