What it is

The PIPE; AIR INLET is an air inlet pipe supplied by Navien for use in the NCB-CE boiler range. It forms part of the appliance's combustion air path, ducting external air into the boiler for the burner. The part is specific to the NCB-CE platform and is not interchangeable with other Navien families.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible cracks, splits or distortion in the air inlet pipe
  • Corrosion, surface pitting or joint damage around the pipe run
  • Combustion readings outside the expected range, or repeated flame-failure lockouts
  • Noise or whistling from the air intake path under normal operation
  • Signs of water ingress or condensate tracking along the inlet pipework

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model and serial number match the NCB-CE ERP range
  • Check the existing pipe for damage that may also affect seals and connections
  • Verify whether any gaskets or fixings are required separately, as they are not supplied with this part
  • Confirm access and routing before removing the old pipe
