What it is
The Riello 3000609 is an air damper assembly for Riello Press series oil burners. It regulates the volume of combustion air drawn into the burner, allowing the air setting to be matched to the nozzle and appliance. Correct damper operation is essential for stable combustion and clean, efficient running.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The damper blade no longer moves freely or is seized in one position
- Combustion readings cannot be set correctly, with the air setting drifting or unstable
- Visible distortion, corrosion or heat damage to the damper blade or linkage
- The damper does not respond when the burner is adjusted during commissioning
- Sooty or erratic combustion that persists after nozzle and pump checks
