What it is
The Alpha UPM3 7MCA pump group, part number 3.023221, is a circulating pump assembly for Alpha gas boilers. It is intended for the ICHS hydraulic group, where it circulates water through the heating and hot water circuits.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fires but the heating or hot water circuit does not reach temperature.
- The pump is noisy, or there is no sound or vibration from the pump when it should be running.
- The boiler locks out or displays a pump-related fault code.
- Water is weeping from the pump body or its connections.
- Radiators heat unevenly, or the boiler cycles on and off.
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model and GC number against the fitment list above.
- Check that the existing pump group is marked UPM3 7MCA and is fitted to an ICHS hydraulic group.
- Have the boiler model and serial details to hand when checking the manufacturer's parts list.
- If your appliance is not listed, verify compatibility with the manufacturer before ordering.
